Two Chester companies recognized

Two Chester companies are among the 100 fastest growing inner-city businesses in the U.S., according to ICIC and Inc. magazine, which recently released the 2006 Inner City 100 winners.

AdminServer inc., a software provider for the insurance industry, and Educational Directories Unlimited which provides information on schools at all levels, were listed 13th and 80th, respectively.

The data is taken from Inner City 100, a ranking of the 100 fastest-growing businesses in inner city areas around the country. The companies selected this year had an annual growth rate of 53 percent and an average rate of 655 percent between 2000 and 2004.

AdminServer's 2004 revenue was reportedly $7.4 million, while EDU brought in $3.7 million in 2004, according to the list.
