StudyAbroad.com Sweepstakes Sending a Student to Costa Rica

Eighth Annual Contest Shines Spotlight on Growth of International Study Programs

CHESTER, PA, February 8, 2002 -

One lucky student can spend over three weeks studying in Costa Rica this summer as the grand prizewinner in the eighth annual StudyAbroad.com Sweepstakes.

StudyAbroad.com (www.studyabroad.com), a Web site of Educational Directories Unlimited, Inc. of Chester, PA, has been the number one online resource for international education information for the last six years. The sweepstakes highlights the rapid growth of StudyAbroad.com, as well as the continued advancement of the international studies industry.

The grand prize includes 24 days in Costa Rica with a group of other students and accompanying faculty and specialists. The winner will enjoy 13 days in San Jose, two days in Fortuna and Arena Volcano, two days in Monteverde, two days in Liberia, two days in Cahuita, two days in Tortuguero, and one day in Sarapiqui. Round trip airfare, accommodations in hotels and lodges, and group dinners are also included. The entire trip package is provided courtesy of the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS), a leading study abroad program provider.

"Study abroad can be a life-changing experience. Our sweepstakes is an event we always enjoy, not only because it helps make students aware of the comprehensive information about studying abroad at StudyAbroad.com, but because of the opportunities it presents to our winner," says Mark Shay, CEO of Educational Directories Unlimited, Inc.

"Studying overseas has always been a dream of mine, and London is one of the most fascinating cities in the world," Kasperek says. "I'm really looking forward to this chance to explore all the cultural opportunities the city - and England itself - has to offer."

He adds, "The grand prize of a summer in Costa Rica can make such an intellectual and emotional impact on someone's life, it is truly a wonderful feeling to give it away."

The grand prizewinner will be randomly selected and announced on May 1, 2002. Students can enter to win online and learn more about the sweepstakes by going to www.studyabroad.com/sweepscostarica from February 1 through April 30, 2002.
