Interactive Web Site for Graduate School Recruiters and Prospective Students Launched

The web site will feature one central chat room and discussion boards designed to bring recruiters and prospective students together.
The re-launching comes as a follow-up to the GradschoolFairs.com event in September. GradSchoolFairs.com was originally designed to promote both live and virtual events that would connect students with academic recruiters. EDU analyzed the results and feedback from the event and determined there is a year-round demand for this type of forum, hence the redesign.
Traditional graduate school recruiting fairs have been dwindling in attendance for years. GradSchoolFairs.com is an attempt to use the Internet to expand the current recruiting methods and allow for a technology-based platform where prospective students and recruiters can interact conveniently and in real time. The interactive services are free, the site is supported by academic advertising.
