Studyabroad.com Announces Sweepstakes Winner
Chester, PA, December 17, 1999 -
Studyabroad.com (http://www.studyabroad.com), an online service of Educational Directories Unlimited, has announced their fifth annual Studyabroad.com Back-To-School sweepstakes winner. Jessica Jacobson of Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN was awarded the grand prize of a four-week study program in Paris, France on December 16, 1999. The prize includes 12-15 hours a week of French Language Instruction at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, round trip airfare, housing in the heart of Paris with daily breakfast, organized cultural excursions, on-site CEA staff with tutoring services, and a two-week Eurail Pass.
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Studyabroad.com, CEA (Cultural Experiences Abroad) (http://www.travelabroad.com) and Airfare Hotline (http://www.discount-airfare.com). The French language instruction at the University of Paris and daily breakfast and excursions are courtesy of CEA, a sponsor of low-cost study abroad programs. Airfare from the continental United States and the two-week Eurail Pass are both courtesy of Airfare Hotline, a company offering discount airline tickets to students. Ten second prize winners have received a Studyabroad.com T-shirt and twenty-five third place winners have received a Studyabroad.com mouse pad.
The sweepstakes began in September 1999 and over a three-month period a total of 3,300 students entered. "This year's sweepstakes has awarded the most extravagant grand prize so far," says Mark Landon, co-founder of Educational Directories Unlimited, "We are proud to be able to change a student's life and offer them a chance to expand their cultural knowledge."
Grand prize winner, Jessica Jacobson, is very excited about the opportunity to expand her horizons.
