Liberty City Promotions Announces Creation of Liberty City College Promotions

JANUARY 1999 -

Liberty City Promotions, provider of the online services Gradschools.com and Studyabroad.com, announces the creation of what is now Liberty City College Promotions, a company focused solely on the distribution of college promotional materials. By creating this new firm, both companies are now free to focus on their core business, allowing greater growth to be achieved. "By splitting the company into two: one for the academic web sites and the other for college advertising," Mark Shay, founder of Liberty City Promotions said, "we can achieve greater growth through a narrower focus." Since the split, interested parties in both Liberty City Promotions and Liberty City College Promotions can expect to see more focused companies.

"Both Liberty City College Promotions and Liberty City Promotions will still work closely together," said Shay, "both using their own creative talents to help each other achieve their goals." Through this unique and separate partnership both companies can look forward to a bright future while benefiting from the past they had together.

Liberty City College Promotions offers advertisers of all types a distribution channel for their promotional material targeting the college market. The company's core business will be centered around the placement of posters on bulletin boards in schools throughout the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. However, a nationwide campaign can be coordinated through a network of similar type firms throughout the country.

Liberty City Promotions will now focus solely on Gradschools.com and Studyabroad.com while producing a variety of means to target their college audience. This will allow Liberty City Promotions to focus their efforts on an academic purpose while still benefiting from their advertising background.

Gradschools.com (http://www.gradschools.com) offers a comprehensive directory of thousands of graduate and postgraduate programs for prospective students. The programs are listed by curriculum and consist of descriptions and contact information for each of the programs.

Studyabroad.com (http://www.studyabroad.com) contains directories of college level study abroad programs that are organized by both subject and destination. Also, included in this site is a popular forum, which focuses on information useful to the student traveling abroad. Things such as financial information and discussion boards can be found here.
